Nikon D5000 Releasing soon ?

It looks like Nikon D5000 will be hitting the shore soon at least in Japan first. The Nikon D5000 is spotted in a Japan website. The entry-level D5000 DSLR comes with a 2.7-inch LCD and suggests a major upgrade over the D60 as a whole, including a movie mode, 11-point autofocus (up from just 3) and light sensitivity up to at least ISO 3,200.

It should be getting a 12-megapixel sensor and should inherit much of the image processing of the D90. The price according to Sofmap’s listing is ¥76,320 (US$762). It’s still a good catch with this type of price range.
